Privacy Policy
This is a static site with no accounts and no forms. Reading our guides to Texas law does not require creating a login, entering payment details, or handing over any personal information.
What the site does not collect
There is no analytics service running on the site at launch: no tracking script, no advertising pixel, and no cookie set by the site itself. Guides are static pages. The homepage search uses JavaScript to filter the guide list in your browser. Search words are not sent to this publication or saved by the search tool. Nothing on the site tracks which guides you read or how long you stay.
What the host keeps
The company hosting these pages keeps standard server logs, the same kind any web host keeps for any site: things like the request timestamp, the page requested, and the requesting IP address. That logging happens at the hosting layer, not something this publication configures or reviews for its own purposes.
The one address published on this site is [email protected], used on the contact page for reporting errors. A message sent to that address is used only to read and respond to whatever you wrote: to check the claim you flagged, ask a follow-up if the report is unclear, and let you know whether the page was changed. It is not sold, shared, or added to any mailing list. Privacy questions can go to that same address, and the answer will be just as plain as this page.
